Southern Movement Presswire
Southern Vision Alliance hosts a regular, semiweekly Southern Movement Presswire that we send to more than 1500 journalists across the South to amplify the work of grassroots organizers. Each presswire includes 8-12 updates from Southern movement organizations in short, mini-press-release style. Our priority is to highlight stories that haven’t already been covered with a focus on local “leads” for stories. What’s included? Any kind of grassroots update—an emerging campaign, an upcoming action or event, or an issue going on in your community that needs more coverage from the media. Contact alejandro@southernvision.org with questions.
Have an update that you’d like the press to cover? Submit it here.
