The Queer Mobilization Fund is thrilled to share our wonderful news as we enter this vital time in our history. With recent elections and the important work that lies ahead, the need for queer, grassroots efforts has never been greater. We want QMF to serve as a space where organizations not only receive financial support but also have the opportunity to build relationships, enhance skills, and deepen their life-changing work.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing donors who have made it possible for us to respond to the growing needs of QTBIPOC organizing in the U.S. Southeast. Thanks to their support, we are excited to announce our 2024 grantee cohort! This year, we proudly awarded grants to 47 incredible organizations working tirelessly within their communities to uplift QTBIPOC freedom and liberation.
The grant submission period ran from August 1 to September 1, and we received an astonishing 167 applications! Our dedicated QMF staff and the grant-making panel spent months reviewing proposals to select this year’s cohort, and after much deliberation, we announced our decisions to grantees at the end of November.
