From early childhood to career preparation, I have advocated for and established various programs dedicated to supporting our youth, including:
- MAD: Mentorship Assessment for the Disadvantaged
- LOVE: Letting Our Volunteers Emerge
- GLAD: Grassroots Leadership and Development
- CRY: Creative Recreation for Youth
- JOY: Job Opportunities for Youth
- HAPPY: Helping Attain Personality and Purpose for Youth
Over the years, my work has spanned numerous roles and initiatives, including serving as Event Coordinator for Youth, the Summer Feeding Program, Harambee Child Development Academy, Community Connections Youth Center, Kids that Kook, GIFTS, and Raise the Roof. This “voice” remains dedicated to creating a significant impact for the next generation. Notably, our organization received a 30-year resolution in 2025 for Stand for Children Day, and I was honored with the “Journey of the Brave” Award that same year.
