Announcing: Free Movement Retreat Space for SVA Partners
The Southern Vision Alliance provides incubation, infrastructure, capacity building, coaching and technical assistance to frontline organizing projects, leadership programs and collaborations. Our purpose is to be an anchor for frontline groups and leaders to disrupt and transform power for collective liberation.
One of SVA’s partners is the Serenity Hill Retreat Center. Serenity Hill is a rural retreat center in the Central Piedmont region of North Carolina, less than an hour from Durham and Greensboro. With wooded trails, creek, herb gardens, playground, firepit, and comfortable meeting spaces on site, it is an ideal location for movement leaders to relax and find respite, or to meet together to make plans for future action.
There are seven cabins for overnight stays, a fully-stocked kitchen for meals, and our caretaker, Kel Sheridan (they/them), is an experienced herbalist who lives on grounds. SVA’s partners always have access to this space for free with coupon code FREE99.
