Introducing: New Finance Team Members!

Welcome our new Finance Associate, Hannah Wang and our new Accounts Manager, Trina Lloyd!

This summer, our Finance team has grown to support the expanding work of our programs and sponsored projects. We’re very excited to welcome Hannah and Trina to the team.

Read below to learn more about our rad new staff members.

Hi all! My name is Hannah Wang (she/they), and I’m the new Finance Associate at SVA. I’ve lived in North Carolina for almost all of my life, so I’m especially excited to do work that will make an impact in our state (and in the South as a whole).

I’m coming to SVA from Grantmakers for Education, where I was on the programs team. Finance is a new area for me, professionally, although I do have some book learning – I’m about halfway through getting my Master’s in accounting at UNC-Chapel Hill.

On the personal side – I live with my partner, Danny, and our cat, Kita in Burlington, about halfway between Durham and Greensboro. Apart from Danny and Kita, a few things I love include: drinking coffee (or wine) on my porch swing, reading novels, and learning new trivia.

I look forward to working with you all!

Dear SVA staff and partners:

I am pleased to be joining the organization as the Accounts Manager and a member of the newly expanded finance team.

I come to SVA from a background in nonprofit  finance and operations, as well as various areas of nonprofit management, including partnerships, programming, and human resources. I hope to contribute to the strength and efficiency of financial operations for the benefit of SVA and our partners. I look forward to serving as a resource and point of contact for financial matters and processes.

Until we are able to have a more formal introduction, please feel free to take a look at my bio on our website, and to introduce yourself by email.

Sincerely,

Catrina Lloyd
